progresifjaya.co.id, SUMEDANG – The Polres of Sumedang Traffic Unit (Satlantas) has received praise from the Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), Habiburokhman, for the neatness and meticulousness of their service to the public. Their operational approach is deeply rooted in the Sumedang folklore philosophy of Insun Medal, Insun Madangan articulated by Prabu Tajimalela of the Sumedang Larang Kingdom as well as the historical legacy of Sumedang established by Prabu Aji Putih and Prabu Geusan Ulun.

Responding to the praise from Habiburokhman, the Head of the Polres of Sumedang Traffic Unit, AKP Agus Sukaedi Suryana, expressed his pride in the commendation.

“We, the Polres of Sumedang Traffic Unit of the West Java Regional Police, are very proud of the Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, Mr. Habiburokhman, for his attention to our performance in the field. This praise also serves as a basis for us to evaluate and improve our work further. Hatur nuhun luhung pisan ya, Mr. Habiburokhman,” said AKP Agus with a beaming smile.

He added that, honestly, no one within the Polres of Sumedang Traffic Unit had ever expected that their work in the field would garner serious attention from a state official—let alone the leader of Commission III of the DPR RI, which oversees law, human rights, and security.

“Who are we here in Sumedang Regency. Our operational area covers only about 1.518 km² in West Java, with a population of just around 1,13 million people. That is why we were both surprised and proud to learn that our performance had caught the serious attention of Mr. Habiburokhman. We are deeply proud and truly grateful.
