progresifjaya.co.id, BEKASI – Five Merah Putih Presisi Bridges within the jurisdiction of the Polda Metro Jaya were inaugurated by President Prabowo—alongside other bridges aimed at supporting community connectivity and mobility—on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Concurrently, the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, conducted social and health outreach activities in Kampung Pulongandang Tengah RT 10/RW 03, Sindangsari Village, Cabangbungin District, Bekasi Regency.

This inauguration was part of a series of events launching TNI-Polri bridges and clean water facilities, officiated virtually by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, via Zoom video conference. The Kapolda Metro Jaya and senior police officials participated in the proceedings from the Merah Putih Presisi bridge site in Cabangbungin, simultaneously inaugurating the bridge for public use.

Within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction, the five Merah Putih Presisi Bridges are distributed across Bekasi Regency and South Tangerang City. Four bridges are located in Bekasi Regency, while one is in South Tangerang City. The four locations in Bekasi Regency are Kampung Kalenderwak (Karangsari Village, East Cikarang District), Kampung Kobak Ceper (Karangharja Village, Pebayuran District), Kampung Pulongandang Tengah (Sindangsari Village, Cabangbungin District), and Bantar Jaya Village (Pebayuran District). The fifth bridge is located in Ciputat Urban Village, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City.

These five bridges provide new connecting access points to support the community’s daily activities. The infrastructure is expected to facilitate residents’ travel to residential areas, schools, public service facilities, agricultural lands, and economic hubs, while also streamlining the distribution of agricultural produce and local business products.  Specifically in Sindangsari Village, Cabangbungin, the Merah Putih Presisi Bridge serves as a vital link, providing safer and more adequate access for local residents. Following the inauguration ceremony, the Kapolda Metro Jaya and his staff personally inspected the bridge and engaged in dialogue with the community.

As part of the event, the Polda Metro Jaya also conducted social outreach activities, distributing aid packages and providing health services to local residents. The Kapolda and senior officials personally inspected the health screening services and spoke with the community. These activities reflect the Polri’s commitment to social welfare and its ongoing effort to bring police services closer to the public.

In his remarks, the Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, emphasized that infrastructure development is part of the National Police’s commitment to remaining present among the people, understanding residents’ needs, and helping to provide solutions to the various issues they face.

“In accordance with the President’s directives, we must continue to stand together with the people and understand the issues affecting the community,” stated the Kapolri.

He also emphasized, that the entire police force must maintain a close relationship with the community and provide the best possible service.

“The Polri was born from the people and must always remain a police force for the people. I hope we can truly fulfill the President’s mandate and message, thereby providing the best service to realize a Polri force that truly serves the community,” he concluded. (Bembo)
