The Polres of Kuningan deploy officers on standby during the morning hours to ensure traffic safety, order, and smooth flow in Kuningan Regency.

progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN – The Polres of Kuningan are intensifying the presence of officers in the field at strategic locations throughout their jurisdiction. This initiative aims to provide a sense of security and comfort to the public as they begin their morning activities.

This preventive measure is being implemented extensively to alleviate potential traffic congestion and prevent traffic accidents, particularly during peak hours when residents and students are on the move.

Kapolres Kuningan, AKBP Bellen Anggara Pratama emphasized, that the presence of police officers on the roads in the morning is a tangible demonstration of the Polri’s service to the community, especially during times of high mobility for residents and students.

“All designated personnel are deployed from 06:15 WIB to 07:30 WIB at various locations prone to congestion and traffic accidents,” said AKBP Bellen on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Personnel deployment focuses on major intersections, busy hubs, school zones, and market areas across the jurisdictions of the Polres of Kuningan and its subordinate sector police stations (Polsek). Staff personnel and functional units carry out security and traffic management duties from Monday to Thursday, while the Traffic Unit (Sat Lantas) and sector police stations are on duty daily according to their schedules.

During operations, officers wear official vests to ensure high visibility to road users. In addition to managing traffic flow, officers are on hand to provide safety advice and assist schoolchildren and members of the public in crossing the street safely.

These preventive measures are expected to reduce traffic accident rates. Furthermore, the initiative aims to alleviate morning congestion and foster a sense of security and comfort for the people of Kuningan Regency as they go about their daily activities. (Bembo)
