progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN – To maintain public security and order (Harkamtibmas) and anticipate potential risks during the dry season, the sector-level police units under the Polres of Kuningan continue to optimize community outreach (dialogue-based visits) and strengthen independent community security initiatives (swakarsa).

In the jurisdiction of the Polsek of Ciawigebang, the Community Police Officer (Bhabinkamtibmas) for Kapandayan Village, Aipda Mulyadi, conducted outreach visits to residents in Kapandayan Village, Ciawigebang District, Kuningan Regency, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

During these visits, the officer urged residents to help maintain public security and order. He also issued a strict prohibition against the indiscriminate burning of trash or land, given the high risk of forest and land fires during the dry season. Additionally, the officer coordinated with residents regarding social protection programs.

Meanwhile, independent community security efforts during the night have been intensified in the jurisdiction of the Polsek of Darma through the assessment phase of the Satkamling (Neighborhood Security Post) competition, organized at the Polres of Kuningan level.

At the neighborhood security post (Poskamling) in the Gunung Luhur hamlet, Darma Village, Darma District, Kuningan Regency, the Bhabinkamtibmas for Darma Village, Aipda Taufik Hidayat, attended the evaluation and assessment of the local security post, which began at 8:00 PM (20:00 WIB).

The Kapolres of Kuningan, AKBP Bellen Anggara Pratama—through the Kapolsek in each respective area—has consistently emphasized the importance of police personnel taking an active role in engaging with the community and fostering public awareness regarding the importance of night-time neighborhood patrols.

“The presence of Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officers) who actively engage with residents not only ensures the effective prevention of environmental disasters and the maintenance of social order, but also motivates citizens to strengthen neighborhood watch systems (siskamling) for the sake of collective security,” stated a representative from the sector police leadership.
