progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN – The Kapolres Kuningan, AKBP Bellen Anggara Pratama, personally led the troop deployment roll call for Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 within the Polres Kuningan jurisdiction on Monday, October 26, 2026.

During the event, Kapolres Bellen read a directive from the Kapolda of West Java, Irjen Pol Hengki, which underscored the importance of enhancing public discipline in traffic, as well as reducing the number of traffic accidents and the severity of casualties on the road.

Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 will be conducted over 14 days, from October 26 to November 8, 2026, simultaneously across the entire jurisdiction of the Polda of West Java.

The directive from the Kapolda of West Java, as conveyed by Kapolres Bellen stated, that the operation will prioritize preemptive and preventive measures that are educational, persuasive, and humanistic in nature.

These efforts will be supported by electronic traffic law enforcement and the issuance of warnings to traffic violators.

“Traffic safety is a shared responsibility. Through ‘Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026,’ we aim to decrease the number of traffic violations and accidents, while fostering greater public discipline and compliance with traffic regulations,” stated Kapolres Bellen, summarizing the directive from the Kapolda of West Java during the roll call.

Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 carries the theme: “Police and the Community Working Together to Realize Orderly, Safe, and Secure Traffic.”

This theme emphasizes, that creating safety and security on the roads is not solely the responsibility of the police, but also requires the active participation of all segments of society.

In his directive, the Kapolda of West Java also instructed all personnel to carry out their duties professionally, proportionally, and in accordance with applicable regulations. Enforcement must be carried out firmly, yet with a polite and humanistic approach in providing service to the public.

As emphasized in the official directive, the success of the operation should be measured by a decline in traffic violations and accidents, a reduction in risks on the road, and an increase in public compliance with traffic regulations.

In its implementation, Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 targets various traffic violations that pose a danger to road users. These include failing to wear seatbelts, using mobile phones while driving, and disregarding traffic markings or signs.

Other targeted violations include running red lights, exceeding speed limits, driving against the flow of traffic, failing to wear helmets (for both riders and passengers), carrying more passengers than permitted, using non-compliant license plates, driving in bus lanes, and parking in unauthorized areas (such as on sidewalks).

Within the jurisdiction of the Polres Kuningan, specific violations subject to formal traffic citations (tilang) include driving against the flow of traffic, using non-compliant or improper license plates, using unauthorized loud exhaust systems (knalpot brong), and operating vehicles that do not meet required technical specifications.
