In Collaboration with the OJK, the Bareskrim Banking Sub-Directorate II Seizes 103 Land and Housing Properties Affiliated with PT DSI in Sukoharjo

Sub-directorate II Banking of the Bareskrim Polri has seized 103 land and housing properties affiliated with PT DSI in Sukoharjo.

progresifjaya.co.id, SUKOHARJO – The pursuit of assets in the case involving PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (PT DSI) continues. On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Sub-Directorate II Banking of the Bareskrim Directorate of Economic and Special Crimes (Dittipideksus) successfully
seized 103 land and building properties located in the D’Trosemi residential complex, Trosemi Village, Gatak District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. The value of the seized assets is estimated at approximately Rp10,23 billion.

The 103 seized properties consist of 86 plots of land covering a total area of 7.343 square meters, as well as 17 housing units situated on 1.200 square meters of land. All of these properties are held under Right to Build (HGB) certificates registered to PT Multiguna Cipta Mandiri (MCM)—a company owned by Taufiq Aljufri, the President Director of PT DSI.

The seizure was carried out pursuant to an authorization order from the Sukoharjo District Court (Case No. 309/PenPid.B-SITA/2026/PN Skh, dated October 13, 2026). This action is part of the fourth phase of the investigation, which focuses on PT DSI as a corporate entity.

The discovery of these assets in Sukoharjo was made possible through effective collaboration between Bareskrim Polri and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in tracing the assets of PT DSI. Data obtained from the OJK’s tracing efforts was subsequently verified by investigators with the Sukoharjo Regency Land Office (BPN) to confirm ownership. In the field, investigators are also coordinating with the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polresta Surakarta and the local National Land Agency (BPN) office.

Kombes Pol M. Arsal Sahban—Head of Sub-Directorate II (Banking) under the Bareskrim Polri’s Dittipideksus who is leading the investigation into the PT DSI case—emphasized, that this seizure is not the final one. The officer, also known for his former role as commander of the Cobra Team during his tenure as Kapolres Lumajang, affirmed that the pursuit of assets will continue.

“The Director of Economic and Special Crimes, Kombes Pol Suhasto, has instructed me to persist with asset tracing—there is to be no stopping. We are carrying out that order. We will continue to pursue the assets of PT DSI and its affiliates, wherever they may be hidden and regardless of whose name they are registered under. There is no safe haven for assets linked to this case,” asserted Kombes Pol Arsal, adding that collaboration with the OJK has been key.

“We are grateful to the OJK. We have verified the data provided by the OJK, one by one, with the BPN, and as a result, we have now secured these assets through seizure. This kind of synergy allows assets to be located and secured quickly for the benefit of the victims,” added the officer, a graduate of the 1998 Police Academy class Batalyon Parama Satwika.

From Sukoharjo, the investigation has now expanded into the Solo area. Currently, an investigative team from Sub-Directorate II (Banking) of the Bareskrim Polri, led by AKBP Agus Sobarnapraja, is conducting further inquiries regarding several assets in coordination with the Surakarta BPN.

“One asset leads to the next. We have moved from Sukoharjo to Surakarta, and it is quite possible we will extend to other regions as well. Our principle is simple: pursue until found. Every rupiah we secure represents a glimmer of hope for the victims,” explained Kombes Pol Arsal.

To date, the value of assets traced by Bareskrim across all clusters of the PT DSI case has exceeded Rp500 billion. Meanwhile, the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) has calculated the restitution for 5.102 victims of PT DSI, amounting to approximately Rp1,07 trillion.

Investigators have also divided the PT DSI case into four clusters to optimize asset tracing. The first cluster involves Taufiq Aljufri, Mery Yuniarni, and Arie Rizal Lesmana; the second cluster involves Atis Sutisna; and the third cluster involves a suspect with the initials FH.

The case files for these three clusters have been declared complete (P21) and are now being handled by the Depok District Attorney’s Office. The fourth cluster, which targets the corporation itself, remains under investigation.

According to an examination by the OJK as of September 2025, PT DSI had successfully raised Rp11,49 trillion from 23.266 lenders since 2018. Of this amount, Rp2,47 trillion has yet to be returned to the lenders, with approximately Rp1,87 trillion allegedly funneled into fictitious projects. Meanwhile, the restitution requested by 5.102 victims—based on the LPSK’s calculations—currently totals Rp1,07 trillion. (Bembo)
