progresifjaya.co.id, SUMEDANG – In an effort to improve the quality of public service, the Polres of Sumedang  Traffic Unit, Polda of West Java, continues to improve and enhance its administrative service system, both at the Driver’s License Administration Unit (Satpas) and the One-Stop Integrated Administration System (Samsat). This step is being taken to create faster, more transparent, and more convenient services for the people of Sumedang Regency.

Services at both Satpas and Samsat are now supported by better-organized facilities and officers ready to assist the public with the process of obtaining and renewing driver’s licenses and processing motor vehicle administration.

In addition to providing excellent administrative services, officers also educate the public about the importance of discipline and safety in traffic.

The Head of the Registration Unit of the Polres of Sumedang Traffic Unit, Ipda Iip Lipda Sugilar in an official statement stated, that the improved service demonstrates the Polri’s commitment to providing professional and humane public services.

 With improved service, the public is expected to experience ease and satisfaction in every process of obtaining a driver’s license (SIM) and motor vehicle registration.

“In accordance with the main message from Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the Traffic Police must improve their service, providing a humane approach to the community. They are also asked to become “men of steel” who serve, are professional, and continue to uphold the institution’s good name among the public within the Polres of Sumedang jurisdiction,” explained Ipda Iip on Friday, May 15, 2026.

He also explained, that the message of humane and community-oriented service means that the Traffic Police must change their mindset to serve sincerely and humanely, so that the Polri will be increasingly loved by the public.

Furthermore, regarding the concept of maintaining integrity, the police must avoid behavior that could damage the institution’s image. The Kapolri also asked the Traffic Police to improve solidarity and maintain professionalism in their duties. This includes responding quickly to traffic needs and challenges in the community.

 “The Kapolri’s message emphasizes the transformation towards a Precise Traffic Police (Predictive, Responsible, and Transparent),” said Ipda Iip.
