Investigators from Unit 1, Sub-Directorate 3, Directorate of Narcotics, Polda Metro Jaya, display evidence of 107 grams of dried marijuana seized from two drug dealers arrested in Tangerang City.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya’s Narcotics Directorate has cracked down on narcotics trafficking in Tangerang City. In this final operation, two male perpetrators and 107 grams of dried marijuana were apprehended.

The final operation began with information from the public regarding narcotics transaction activity on Jalan Al-Makmur, Kebalen, Pinang District, Tangerang City. Following up on the report, a team from Unit 1, Sub-Directorate 3, Polda Metro Jaya’s Narcotics Directorate conducted surveillance and monitoring at the location on Wednesday, May 10, 2026.

A man acting suspiciously was found. And bruuk. The man, identified as AA (26), was arrested.

After AA was apprehended, further investigation led to another man, identified as AAU (37).  This man was later arrested in Cipondoh, Tangerang City. During the arrest, 18 rice paper packages containing marijuana with a total gross weight of 79,76 grams and a cell phone were found in his possession.

“We have arrested two marijuana dealers, identified as AA (26) and AAU (37), based on Jalan Al-Makmur, Pinang Village, Pinang District. The evidence consists of marijuana packaged into packages with a total weight of 107 grams,” explained Head of Unit 1, Sub-Directorate 3, Directorate of Narcotics Investigation, Polda Metro Jaya, AKP Arie Purwanto, in a statement on Monday, May 25, 2026.

He stated, that the two dealers carried out their operation by deceivingly hiding the marijuana packages inside fish food. Both are currently being held at the Polda Metro Jaya headquarters for further questioning. Investigators are still investigating the network of the two dealers.
