The process of evacuating the body of the South Korean citizen, identified as S, from his home in South Tambun, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

progresifjaya.co.id, KAB. BEKASI – A foreign citizen (WNA) from South Korea with the initials S (66) was found dead in a pool of blood in South Tambun, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The victim’s body was first discovered by his daughter on Wednesday afternoon, May 27, 2026.

Kapolsek of South Tambun, Kompol Wuryanti also confirmed this information.

“The chronology is that yesterday afternoon at 3:00 PM WIB, S’s body was found by his daughter,” Kompol Wuryanti told the media on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

She said, that victim S was found alone in his home. When found, the victim was already covered in blood.

She explained, that an autopsy is currently underway. Injuries from sharp and blunt objects were found on the victim’s body.

“Yes, we will conclude later. It’s under investigation. An autopsy is underway. The exact cause of death will be determined later. But what is clear is that numerous signs of trauma and violence were found on the victim’s body,” said Kompol Wuryanti.

This case is still under police investigation. The police have also coordinated with the South Korean Embassy in Jakarta.

“The police are conducting investigative steps. And because the victim is a foreign national, we have coordinated with the South Korean Embassy in Jakarta to notify them,” explained Kompol Wuryanti.
