Bhayangkara Commemoration Ceremony in Cikeas: “80 Years of Service, Polri for the Community”

President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, acted as Inspector of the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary Ceremony in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java.

progresifjaya.co.id, BOGOR – Today, July 1, 2026, the Bhayangkara of the Republic of Indonesia celebrates its 80th anniversary. The Indonesian National Police (Polri) celebrated this 80th anniversary at the Satlat Korbrimob Polri Field in Cikeas, Bogor Regency. The theme of the commemoration ceremony was “80 Years of Service, Polri for the Community”. The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, served as the Inspector of the Commemoration Ceremony.

Also in attendance were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, heads of state institutions, ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Kapolri, and invited guests from within and outside the country.

Thousands of participants, consisting of Polri personnel, the TNI, Akpol Cadets, Polri civil servants, and various community groups, also attended the ceremony.

A series of activities, ranging from troop parades, personnel performance displays, operational vehicle parades, fly-pasts, and community involvement, demonstrated the synergy between Polri and all components of the nation to maintain security and order.

In addition to the ceremony, the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration also included the awarding of honors and awards to national figures, personnel, and outstanding work units as a token of appreciation for their dedication and devotion to the nation and state.

“The 80th Bhayangkara Day is a moment of reflection for all Bhayangkara personnel to continuously improve their professionalism, strengthen their integrity, and provide increasingly precise services. Through the theme “80 Years of Service, Polri for the Communnity”, we want to emphasize that all Polri duties must always be in the interests of the community,” said Irjen Pol Johnny Eddizon Isir.

He also explained, that the involvement of various community elements in this year’s ceremony demonstrates that security is a shared responsibility built through collaboration between all elements of the nation.

“The presence of various community components at the 80th Bhayangkara Day Ceremony reflects the strong synergy between the Polri and the community. This is a shared spirit to continue maintaining unity, strengthening security, and supporting national development towards a more advanced Indonesia,” he explained.

The 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration, continued Irjen Pol Johnny Eddizon Isir, also serves as a showcase for the results of the increasingly modern and adaptive transformation of the Polri. This includes strengthening human resources, utilizing technology, and improving the quality of public services. This entire series of activities also reflects the Polri’s commitment to continuously transforming itself into a professional, humane, and trusted institution.
