progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Indonesian national team midfielder Ivar Jenner has decided to extend his contract with Dewa United FC. This news also puts an end to rumors regarding a potential move to Persija Jakarta.
Confirmation of the extension came via a video posted on Dewa United’s Instagram account.
The Banten Warriors featured Ivar Jenner conveying well-wishes for the Republic of Indonesia’s 81st anniversary.
However, he was not the only one speaking in the video.
“Happy 81st Indonesian Independence Day.”
“A sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia.”
“Merdeka!” (Freedom!) shouted the Dewa United players, including Ivar Jenner.
Previously, Ivar Jenner’s contract with Dewa United FC was set to expire in June 2026.
Dewa United had signed Ivar Jenner from Jong Utrecht during the second half of the 2025/2026 Super League season.
At the time, he signed only a six-month contract while awaiting offers from European clubs.
It is not yet known how long Ivar Jenner will continue to play for the Banten Warriors. (Bembo)
