progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Rafael Struick, the scorer of Dewa United FC’s lone goal against Persik Kediri, was overjoyed after netting a beautiful goal in the opening week of the 2026/2027 BRI Super League season.

His precise strike from outside the penalty area in the 15th minute found the back of the Persik Kediri net with power.

“Of course, i am very happy—first and foremost because of the three points. I think it was a tough match today,” said Struick, as quoted by the I.League website.

“Persik played very well, and we faced a difficult situation in the first half,” explained the Dutch-born naturalized player.

As a forward, Struick acknowledges that his job is to score goals. Consequently, he was delighted to kick off the season by getting his name on the scoresheet.

“My job is to score goals, and in this match, i managed to do that to help the team secure three points,” he added.

This goal against Persik Kediri marked Struick’s second for Dewa United FC in the 25 matches he has played for the club.

“I feel i’ve had a good pre-season and am ready to help the team secure as many three-point wins as possible,” Struick vowed. (Bembo)
