Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, accompanied by Deputy Chief Polda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Dekananto Eko Purwono, visits three injured personnel receiving treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Ppl Asep Edi Suheri, accompanied by Deputy Chief Polda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Dekananto Eko Purwono, visited three personnel currently receiving treatment at the Bhayangkara Level I Hospital (Polri Medical and Health Center) after sustaining injuries while on duty.

The three personnel are Ipda Rizal Zulkarnain from the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Investigation Directorate, and Bripda Aditya Ilyas Nurfauzan and Bripda Alvin Indra Yudiana from the Polres Metro of North Jakarta Public Order Unit (Satsamapta).

Ipda Rizal sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh while handling a narcotics suspect who attempted to seize his service weapon. After receiving initial treatment, he was referred to the Bhayangkara Level I Hospital for further care.

Meanwhile, Bripda Aditya and Bripda Alvin were involved in an accident while conducting a security patrol. Both sustained leg injuries as well as wounds to their hands and are currently undergoing treatment.

During the visit, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri spoke with the three personnel and offered words of encouragement, urging them to focus on a successful recovery.

“Focus on your recovery and follow all the medical team’s recommendations. We are all praying for and waiting for our colleagues to recover and return to their duties serving the community,” he said on Thursday, September 17, 2026. (Bembo)
