The Polres Mpajalengka conduct a social outreach program by distributing clean water to three locations across two urban villages Cijati and Babakan Jawa.
progresifjaya.co.id, MAJALENGKA – The Polres Majalengka through the Polsek Majalengka City once again distributed clean water aid to residents in need within the Majalengka District, Majalengka Regency, on Friday, October 16, 2026. This second phase of the social service initiative began at 10:20 AM. The activity proceeded in an orderly and warm atmosphere, met with great enthusiasm and deep gratitude from the recipients.
The distribution was led personally by the Kapolres Majalengka, AKBP Muhammad Aldy Sulaiman, accompanied by the Kapolsek Majalengka City, Iptu Piki Krismanto, the Wakapolsek, Ipda M. Yusuf; and other personnel from the Polsek Majalengka City.
The presence of the leadership and their officers demonstrates the police force’s serious concern and full commitment to helping address the hardships faced by local residents.
The clean water aid was delivered to three specific locations across two urban villages, Cijati and Babakan Jawa. In Cijati, the aid was provided to 52 households in the Pusaka Indah neighborhood (RT 002/RW 08) and 68 households in the Sukajaya Girang neighborhood (RT 002/RW 010).
Meanwhile, in Babakan Jawa, the aid reached 247 households in the Margamulya neighborhood (RT 018/RW 06). In total, this program has benefited 367 households across these three areas. The aid was received directly by local sub-district officials and residents, who expressed their gratitude and deep appreciation for the attention shown.
This clean water assistance program is an integral part of the concrete initiatives led by the Kapolres Majalengka, carried out in close cooperation with the Majalengka Regional Water Utility Company (PDAM). This collaboration exemplifies a harmonious synergy between the police force and relevant agencies, working together to help the community meet its most pressing basic needs—specifically, access to clean water suitable for daily consumption.
For the police, their participation in this initiative goes beyond the mere distribution of material aid. It serves as a profound expression of social concern and a strategic step toward strengthening the bond and harmonious relationship between the Indonesian Polri and the public.
Amid the challenges residents face in securing clean water, this assistance is intended to ease the daily burdens of the recipient families, provide greater comfort, and ensure that every family member has access to clean, healthy, and essential resources.
Kapolres Majalengka, AKBP Muhammad Aldy Sulaiman—through a statement delivered by the Kapolsek Majalengka City, Iptu Piki Krismanto—emphasized that this social service initiative reflects the police force’s steadfast commitment to being present, showing care, and providing tangible benefits to the community they serve.
“Through this clean water distribution program, we hope to help meet the community’s urgent needs and alleviate the burdens currently faced by the residents. The police will continue to strive to be present among the public—not only by maintaining security and public order, but also through social initiatives that bring direct, meaningful benefits to the lives of the people,” stated Iptu Piki Krismanto, conveying the Kapolres’s message to the residents and members of the media in attendance.
Furthermore, through this initiative, the Polres Majalengka hope to strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong), care, and togetherness between the police force and the community.
In this way, the presence of the police is truly felt—not merely as law enforcement officers, but as protectors, guardians, and public servants who are sincerely committed to standing by the residents, sharing in their hardships, and working side-by-side to create a prosperous, safe, and harmonious environment.
