progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Central Jakarta Metro Polres Narcotics Unit has successfully dismantled a large-scale narcotics trafficking operation involving methamphetamine and ecstasy drugs in the Senen area of Central Jakarta. One suspect, identified as SS (48), was arrested in front of the Senen Terminal on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at around 9:30 PM WIB.

This arrest was made possible thanks to information from the public. SS was found to contain 1.064 kilograms of methamphetamine packaged in Chinese tea bags. Further investigation was conducted, including a search of SS’s boarding house in the Kemayoran area.

Another 1.694 ecstasy pills were found, consisting of 914 orange pills and 780 brown pills. Also found were 367,5 grams of synthetic (anhydrous) caffeine powder and digital scales.

In his explanation, the Head of the Central Jakarta Metro Polres Narcotics Unit, AKBP Wisnu S. Kuncoro stated, that SS acted as an intermediary in the drug network.

“The perpetrator received, stored, and delivered narcotics on the orders of a fugitive with the initials T. He was paid Rp 20 million for 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine, and Rp 2 million for 1.000 ecstasy pills,” said AKBP Wisnu.

He also stated, that through this distribution operation, his team has saved approximately 10.776 people from the dangers of narcotics. (Bembo)
