Public Education Through ‘Polantas Menyapa’, Banjar Polres Traffic Unit Aims to Reduce Traffic Violations in Banjar City

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Banjar Polres Traffic Unit continues its efforts to educate the public about proper motor vehicle (ranmor) registration and driver’s permit administration. Currently, this educational activity is being implemented through the interactive communication program ‘Polantas Menyapa’.
Through this program, the public receives education about driving requirements, such as driver’s licenses (SIM), vehicle taxes and vehicle registrations (STNK), as well as the importance of wearing SNI helmets. The hope is to reduce the number of traffic violations in Banjar City and improve the safety of road users, both motorcycle and motorcycle riders.
The Head of the Banjar Polres Traffic Unit, AKP Irman Hidayat Pinim explained, that
the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ activity is routinely conducted as a means of direct interaction with the public, so that traffic safety messages can be effectively conveyed and implemented in everyday life.
He also emphasized, that this program demonstrates the Banjar Polres Traffic Unit’s commitment to creating a safe, orderly, and disciplined traffic environment. The Banjar Polres Traffic Unit hopes that with this humanistic approach, the public will not only be aware of the rules but also become responsible traffic operators.
