progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Personnel from the Majalengka Polres Traffic Unit, Polda West Java, are continuously educating applicants about Registration and Identification (Regident) services through the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program. The education provided covers Satpas and Samsat.

The goal of this program is to provide applicants with an understanding of excellent, humane, and responsive service in vehicle administration and driver’s license processing.

“Polantas Menyapa” demonstrates our commitment to staying close to the community while providing clear education on motor vehicle administration and driver’s license processing,” said Majalengka Polres Traffic Unit Chief, AKP Rudy Sudaryono through the Head of the Registration and Identification Unit, Ipda Aryanto, on Friday, (10/24).

Through this program, Ipda Aryanto continued, the Majalengka Polres Traffic Unit personnel not only carry out their duties procedurally but also actively welcome, guide, and provide information to the public. The ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program covers four important areas of education.

The first area of education is about obtaining a new driver’s license (SIM), which includes a complete guide from registration and health checks to theory and practical tests. The second area of education is about the five-yearly vehicle registration (STNK) renewal, which includes an explanation of the process and requirements for changing license plates.

The third area of education is about annual tax payments, which includes information on official and transparent payment channels. Finally, the information covers the BPKB (Vehicle Registration Certificate) administration process, which covers the procedures for issuing, changing ownership, and requesting duplicates in the event of loss or damage.

In addition to these four areas, the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program also aims to prevent fraudulent practices or falsification of vehicle documents. The public is also encouraged to become pioneers in traffic safety through orderly administration.

“Our hope is that applicants come with complete documents so the process runs smoothly and is free from brokers,” said Ipda Aryanto.

“That’s why we want to serve the community with sincere, professional service. Hopefully, through this program, our Regident service in Majalengka can be even cleaner and more transparent to the public,” he continued, expressing his hopes. (Bembo)
