progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Fifteen young men from Bandung were arrested by the Polda Metro Jaya’s Ditsamapta Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (3P) in Pulogadung and Cakung, East Jakarta, early Saturday morning, May 30, 2026. Seven sickles of various sizes, seven mobile phones, and four motorcycles were also seized as evidence in the arrests.

Dirsamapta of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo stated in a statement, that the patrol team’s first discovery occurred on Jalan Persahabatan Timur, Pulogadung.

“The team found a group of youths suspected of being involved in the brawl. Officers then pursued and apprehended the suspects along with evidence,” said Kombes Pol Wahyu.

During the chase, 11 young men were apprehended. Although some had managed to hide in a resident’s house, they were still caught.

From this location, five machetes of various sizes were confiscated, including one the perpetrator had tried to hide in the bathroom attic. Five cell phones and one motorcycle were also seized.

While moving to another location, the 3P Team also caught several other young men in the Cakung area. During the chase, four young men were apprehended. Two machetes, two cell phones, and three motorcycles were confiscated from the seizure.

“So, the total evidence seized is seven machetes of various sizes, seven cell phones, and four motorcycles. The young men, along with the evidence, have been handed over to the police station for further investigation,” explained Kombes Pol Wahyu.

He also urged the public to immediately report any potential brawls or disturbances to public order.  Reports can be submitted to the nearest polsek station or through the 110 Call Center. Hello..
