This is the Polri’s firm commitment to all efforts and deceptions to prevent the potential growth and development of judol, which is still active or growing. According to him, the Polri do not want Indonesia to become a hub for online gambling networks or a platform for transnational cybercrime from abroad.

“The Polri is committed to firm law enforcement to prevent Indonesia from becoming a hub for online gambling and international scams,” he said.

He also explained, that the disclosure of the case involving hundreds of foreign nationals is part of the implementation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia’s Asta Cita program to address digital and transnational crime.

“This is part of the ongoing and simultaneous implementation of law enforcement carried out by the Polri in collaboration with relevant stakeholders,” Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo added.

Currently, the investigation and development process for hundreds of perpetrators is ongoing, in collaboration with relevant agencies, including immigration and other institutions. All 320 foreign nationals who were caught in the raid are known to have overstayed their stay in Indonesia and are being handled by Immigration.
