Evidence of 1.000 ecstasy pills and 115,16 grams of methamphetamine, suspected to have originated from the prison, was seized from two dealers in North Jakarta.

progresifjaya.co.id., JAKARTA – Two men, identified as T (40) and F (43), suspected of being drug dealers, were arrested by Sub-Directorate 2 of the Polda Metro Jaya’s Narcotics Directorate (Ditresnarkoba) at a Penjaringan apartment in North Jakarta. Evidence confiscated from the two men included 1.000 ecstasy pills and 115,16 grams of crystal methamphetamine or sabu.

The Head of Sub-Directorate 2 of the Polda Metro Jaya Ditresnarkoba, AKBP Tiyatno Pamungkas stated in a statement, that the case was uncovered on Tuesday evening, May 5, 2026. Police first arrested T in the apartment parking lot.

“From the suspect T, we confiscated 100 ecstasy pills packaged in clear plastic bags and one empty plastic bag,” said AKBP Tiyatno to the media on Monday, May 11, 2026.

Further investigation, the suspect proceeded to one of the apartment units. Suspect F was also arrested. From him, 900 ecstasy pills and six clear plastic bags containing suspected methamphetamine, totaling 115,16 grams, were seized.

“In the apartment, we found 900 ecstasy pills and 115 grams of sabu. We also managed to secure an electronic scale, two cell phones, and four small clip packs. So, in total, we found 1.000 ecstasy pills as evidence,” said AKBP Tiyatno again.

Preliminary investigations and examinations indicate that the narcotics evidence recovered came from a prison. Investigators are continuing their investigation.  Meanwhile, perpetrators T and F are currently being held in detention cells, and evidence has been secured at the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters.
