progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — The Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) is urging the public to take advantage of the Jakarta Provincial Government’s program to waive or amend administrative sanctions or motor vehicle tax fines from June 1 to August 31, 2026.

This vehicle tax amnesty program is a golden opportunity for the public to fulfill their tax obligations and also to streamline vehicle ownership administration.

“This amnesty program is valid for three months. We urge the public to make the most of this opportunity,” said Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director, Kombes Pol Komarudin.

He explained, that the public can visit any Samsat (Vehicle Tax Office) office within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction to receive vehicle tax payment relief services. The department has also prepared personnel, infrastructure, and service flow arrangements to anticipate the increasing number of taxpayers during the program.

“We have prepared personnel in the field, including the service facilities and infrastructure at the Samsat. The goal is to ensure that visitors receive good service. We also want to ensure that the service process runs orderly, smoothly, comfortably, and without inconvenience to the public,” said Kombes Pol Komarudin.

He further urged the public to process their vehicle tax payments themselves through the official Samsat service. He added that officers will be willing to assist them in a humane manner and provide services in accordance with applicable regulations.

“We urge the public to come directly to the Samsat and process their vehicle tax payments themselves. The service is open every weekday, Monday through Saturday, except national holidays or red dates,” he added.

“Please take advantage of this program until August 31, 2026. This is a golden opportunity to fulfill your tax obligations and streamline your vehicle administration,” he continued.
