To Enforce Vehicle Tax Delinquencies, the Polres of Pangandaran Traffic Unit Regularly Conducts KTDMU Operations

The Polres of Pangandaran Traffic Unit routinely conducts KTDMU operations to enforce vehicle tax payments on roads within the Polres of Pangandaran jurisdiction.
progresifjaya.co.id, PANGANDARAN – The Pangandaran Police Traffic Unit promotes the motto “SETIA” (Smile, Empathy, and Firmness in Serving the Community) in carrying out its duties. The motto “SETIA,” an acronym for Smile, Empathy, and Firmness in Serving the Community, is truly implemented with sincerity as a core value of service within the Polres of Pangandaran Department.
The Polres of Pangandaran Traffic Unit also regularly collaborates with the Pangandaran Regency Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) to conduct joint operations and Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) inspections. These raids aim to enforce vehicle registrations that have not been re-registered (KTMDU). During inspections, taxpayers are asked to check their vehicle status and make payments immediately on the spot if they are caught red-handed.
“Make sure your vehicle is not in arrears on taxes when passing through the Pangandaran area. To avoid being caught in a joint operation or being fined, you must carry your original, valid vehicle registration (STNK) and driver’s license (SIM),” said the Head of the Registration and Identification Unit of the Polres of Pangandaran Traffic Unit, Ipda M. Harry Santoso, on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
“Also, check your tax status and ensure you have paid your annual vehicle tax obligations,” he added.
He also stated, that the Polres of Pangandaran Traffic Unit routinely conducts KTDMU operations to enforce vehicle tax regulations. These enforcement operations target vehicles with delinquent taxes and provide on-site tax payment facilities for violators.
This joint operation, conducted by the Bapendaband related agencies, such as the PM and Satpol PP, generally targets several national roads and strategic areas within the Pangandaran jurisdiction, such as Cijulang and Padaherang, as well as several key areas.
“Therefore, we recommend checking your bill status in real time before traveling via the official Sapawarga app or the West Java Bapenda website. Don’t get caught red-handed in a KTDMU operation on the road,” advised Ipda M. Harry Santoso.
