progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Seemingly undeterred by past consequences, actor Revaldo Fifaldi has once again been arrested by the police in connection with a drug case. The actor, born on June 18, 1982, was apprehended by the Polres Metro of West Jakarta Narcotics Unit in the Tangerang area on the night of Monday, August 24.
Revaldo’s arrest stemmed from a public tip-off regarding alleged drug use by a public figure. Police subsequently conducted an investigation, leading to his arrest.
When confirmed, AKP Wisnu Wirawan, Head of Public Relations for the Polres Metro of West Jakarta stated, that the police are still developing the case. Preliminary interrogation results indicate that Revaldo had been using crystal methamphetamine (sabu).
“RF was involved in drug abuse. It is true that a team from the Polres Metro of West Jakarta Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation. Based on preliminary interrogation, it is confirmed that RF used sabu,” said AKP Wisnu on Tuesday, August 25.
A search of Revaldo yielded evidence consisting of three plastic bags that had previously contained crystal meth. Additionally, ready-to-use sabu and a bong (smoking device) were seized. However, AKP Wisnu declined to disclose the exact quantity of crystal meth confiscated during the operation.
He stated only that Revaldo is currently undergoing further questioning.
“Further investigation is underway. He was arrested alone. The next steps involve conducting a urine test and compiling the case file,” AKP Wisnu added.
In fact, this is not the first time actor Revaldo has faced police trouble over drugs, he has been arrested several times previously for similar offenses.
Revaldo was first arrested in 2006 for possessing a packet of sabu, he was sentenced to two years in prison for that offense.
Four years later, Revaldo found himself in trouble with the law yet again. This time, he was implicated in a case involving the possession of 62 grams of sabu in 2010.
Revaldo then notched a hat-trick of arrests in 2023 at the hands of the Polda Metro Jaya. At the time, he expressed regret and admitted to suffering a relapse in his drug use. This year, Revaldo set a quattrick record—getting busted for the fourth time due to sabu. (Bembo)
