Irjen PolHengki has now assumed the role of Kapolda West Java succeeding Irjen Pol Pipit Rismanto. This leadership transition was marked by a solemn ceremony involving the handover of the Polda of West Java Pataka (ceremonial standard)—named Ganda Wibawa Sakti—at the Polda of West Java Headquarters on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

The handover of the standard symbolizes the transfer of leadership responsibility within the Polda of West Java from Irjen Pol Pipit Rismanto to Irjen Pol Hengki.

“This traditional Pataka handover ceremony marks the transfer of leadership responsibility for the Polda of West Java from Irjen Pol Dr. Pipit Rismanto to me,” said Irjen Pol Hengki.

He stated, that the position of Kapolda is not merely a structural role but a significant mandate carrying the responsibility to uphold the honor of the Polri institution, while simultaneously providing service and protection to the people of West Java.

“With full awareness and humility, i accept this mandate,” he asserted.

As the new Kapolda West Java,, this two-star police general—an alumnus of the 1995 Police Academy (Akpol) Patria Tama battalion—is also committed to continuing his predecessor’s programs that have proven effective and beneficial to the community.

Furthermore, Irjen Pol Hengki emphasized the importance of addressing aspects that still require improvement. This step is expected to enhance organizational performance and strengthen the execution of police duties across the West Java region.

“I am committed to continuing programs that have already yielded benefits, addressing areas that still need improvement, and ensuring that the actions of all personnel align with the policy direction of the Kapolri,” he reiterated.
