“Blessed Friday” Caring and Sharing Action, Polres of Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit Provides Assistance to Orphans at An-Nur Orphanage

The Polres of Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit carried out various acts of care through the Blessed Friday program by providing assistance to orphans at the An-Nur Orphanage in Padakembang District, Tasikmalaya Regency.
progresifjaya.co.id, TASIKMALAYA – The Polres of Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit conducted a caring and sharing action with orphans on Friday, May 8, 2026. Part of the “Blessed Friday” program, the event involved a visit to the An-Nur Orphanage in Padakembang District, Tasikmalaya Regency.
Polres of Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit Chief, AKP Didit Permadi, led the activity. The assistance was given directly to each orphan at the orphanage.
A set of koko shirts, 20 sacks of rice, and various other basic necessities were also donated.
In his statement, AKP Didit Permadi stated, that this social activity demonstrates the police’s concern for the community, especially for orphans who need attention and assistance.
“This activity demonstrates our commitment, particularly from the Polres of Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit, to fill this Blessed Friday with activities that benefit the community,” said AKP Didit to the media.
He also explained, that the Polres of Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit enthusiastically welcomed the idea of sharing with orphans. They believe that the togetherness of members in social activities is an important element that must be continuously fostered.
“When we expressed our intention to donate and provide assistance to orphans, Alhamdulillah, all members responded well. Everyone unitedly participated in providing clothing and basic necessities for the children at the orphanage,” said AKP Didit.
This sense of togetherness in sharing was truly touching and encouraging. However, he continued, he also reminded everyone to maintain a sense of caring for others, especially those in need.
“Caring for others is something every member should have. Because a portion of our sustenance includes the rights of orphans,” AKP Didit stated.
Meanwhile, Burhanudin Nugraha, an administrator of the An-Nur Foundation, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the assistance provided by the Polres if Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful to the Polres of Tasikmalaya Traffic Unit for providing clothing and basic necessities for the children here,” said Burhanudin.
“We all pray that all the kindness of the police officers will be rewarded abundantly by Allah SWT,” he added, praying gratefully.
