Kapolda of Banten and Wakapolda of Banten Send Off Seven Personnel for Umrah

Kapolda of Banten, Irjen Pol Hengki and Wakapolda of Banten, Brigjen Pol Iwan Saktiadi send off seven personnel to perform the umrah pilgrimage.
progresifjaya.co.id, SERANG – Kapolda of Banten, Irjen Pol Hengki, accompanied by Wakapolda of Banten, Brigjen Pol Iwan Saktiadi, sent off seven Polda of Banten personnel departing to perform the umrah pilgrimage. The send-off ceremony took place at the Maung Lounge of the Polda of Banten Headquarters on Friday, August 21, 2026.
In his remarks, Irjen Pol Hengki stated, that the umrah journey is a valuable opportunity for personnel to strengthen their faith and engage in self-reflection.
“The umrah pilgrimage is not merely a physical journey to the Holy Land, it is also a spiritual journey to draw closer to Allah SWT. Make the most of this opportunity to worship earnestly, increase your prayers, and practice introspection,” Irjen Pol Hengki advised.
He also urged the seven personnel to maintain their health, properly observe all the rituals of the pilgrimage, and uphold the good name of the Polri while in the Holy Land.
“I advise all personnel undertaking the umrah pilgrimage to look after their health, properly follow every stage of the worship, and continue to uphold the good reputation of the Polda of Banten. May the journey proceed smoothly, and may all acts of worship be accepted by Allah SWT,” he said.
In his further remarks, the Kapolda of Banten also asked the seven personnel to pray for the extended family of the Polda of Banten and the people of Banten, asking that they be granted health, safety, security, and blessings.
“While in the Holy Land, i entrust you to pray for the extended Polda of Banten family and the entire community of Banten. May Banten always be granted security, peace, and blessings, and may we all be given the strength to carry out our duties and service,” he added.
The send-off of these seven personnel reflects the leadership’s commitment to the mental and spiritual development of Polda of Banten personnel.
