progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The case of a hunkue ice cream seller suspected of using sponge ice cream by the Kampung Rawa Community Police Officer (Bhabinkamtibmas), Aiptu Ikhwan Mulyadi, and the Utan Panjang Village Babinsa (Babinsa), Serda Hari Purnomo, in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, suddenly went viral and attracted widespread attention.
The accusations ended with an apology, as the allegations were proven unsubstantiated. Scientific refutation from the forensic lab results confirmed that the ice cream sold by Sudrajat, a Depok resident, was safe and suitable for consumption. It was not made from sponge ice cream, as alleged.

“Therefore, we at the Polda Metro Jaya offer our apologies. The purpose of our actions was simply to provide education. Nothing more,” he added.
Kombes Pol Bhudi continued, explaining that the Polri has never had any intention of shutting down or hindering community businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In fact, he continued, the Polri are committed to fully supporting the community’s economic activities to ensure they continue to operate safely and healthily.
“The police have never shut down or hindered community MSME businesses. But whatever the case, we can understand the public’s psychological disappointment,” he said.
Regarding the action taken by the Professional and Security Division (Bid Propam) of the Polda Metro Jaya against personnel involved in this case, Kombes Pol Bhudi stated, that an in-depth investigation into the incident is still underway. This investigation is being conducted to determine whether there were any violations of ethics, authority, or procedures by personnel.
