progresifjaya.co.id, TASIKMALAYA CITY – The Polres of Tasikmalaya City Driver’s License Administration Unit (Satpas), along with the Tasikmalaya City SIM Outlet, continue to strive to improve the quality of public service through the “Polantas Menyapa” program. This program is often presented as a form of innovative service that offers fast, friendly, humane, and professional driver’s license (SIM) processing.
Polres of Tasikmalaya City Traffic Unit Chief, AKP Riki Kustiawan explained, that the “Polantas Menyapa” program is a tactical step to build public trust in the Polri’s services.
This initiative is realized through the provision of humane services to ensure the comfort of SIM applicants during the SIM processing process.
“Through the “Polantas Menyapa” program, the Satpas Polres of Tasikmalaya City strives to increase and maintain public trust in the Polri’s services. We want to be closer to the community and provide excellent, precise service to the public,” explained AKP Riki Kustiawan recently.
Throughout the process, AKP Riki continued, the personnel of the Satpas Polres of Tasikmalaya City and the Tasikmalaya City SIM Outlet always strive to be on point in serving SIM applicants. This includes a friendly and humble demeanor, a fast and precise work method, and an educational approach that is easy for SIM applicants to understand.
“Personnel are called upon to always be friendly and actively provide guidance to assist the public throughout the service process. You have my word, for sure,” he said confidently.
Furthermore, this glow-up approach is now also supported by improvements to the IT-based infrastructure for new SIM issuance services.
“Now, making a new SIM and renewing it at the Satpas Polres of Tasikmalaya City or the SIM Outlet in the Asia Plaza Complex only takes 120 minutes from start to finish,” AKP Riki said.
He also admitted, that he sometimes hears complaints from applicants who want registration and the exam to take place on the same day. This occurs because the number of applicants visiting the Satpas is quite high, so they inevitably have to wait in long lines to wait their turn.
This, AKP Riki continued, has the potential to create a perception of uncertainty about when the test will be taken. Furthermore, there’s the potential for interaction with people selling promises of a fast process.
Therefore, as a smart solution, AKP Riki urges applicants to register for the new driver’s license exam online, using their e-KTP as their registration password.
This way, applicants can enjoy choosing a date and time for the test that best suits their schedule.
“That’s our best bet! Really,” he added guaranteeing.
