Polda Metro Jaya distributing basic food packages to online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers during the Caring Friday initiative.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya once again carried out a humanitarian act of care during the Caring Friday event. A total of 350 food packages were distributed to online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers in front of the Polda Metro Jaya Promoter Building on Friday, May 29, 2026.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto stated in a statement, that the Caring Friday event demonstrates the Polda Metro Jaya ‘s commitment to the community. The distributed food packages are expected to alleviate the needs of ojol drivers who assist residents with their daily mobility.

Kombes Pol Bhudi stated, that online motorcycle taxi drivers play a vital role in urban life. Therefore, the Polda Metro Jaya is eager to continue building close relationships with the community by engaging in humanitarian and beneficial activities.

“Hopefully, this assistance can help fellow online motorcycle taxi drivers and their families. The Polri wants to remain close to the community,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi.

Through the Caring Friday humanitarian initiative, the Polda Metro Jaya also encourages the public to work together to maintain security and order in their respective communities. If they witness or experience any disturbances to public order or require police assistance, they are advised to immediately contact the Polri emergency service at 110 for prompt action.
