The perpetrator of Endang’s murder, limping due to a gunshot wound to his leg, is being escorted by investigators from the Polda Metro Jaya Resmob Sub-Directorate.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Investigators from the Mobile Detective (Resmob) Sub-Directorate of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya’s have uncovered the motive behind the murder of Endang alias E (54), who killed his girlfriend, Muzalipah, alias M (52), at a boarding house on Jalan Makaliwe, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. The murder was apparently committed because Endang was caught cheating.

“The motive for the murder began when the victim, Muzalipah, visited the perpetrator’s rented house, Endang. The victim then discovered a WhatsApp message from another woman on the perpetrator’s phone. Muzalipah became jealous,” said Iptu Dally Gumay, Head of Unit II of the Resmob Sub-Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya’s General Criminal Investigation Directorate, on Friday, July 31, 2026.

“After that, an argument ensued between the two parties. The perpetrator, Endang, took a hammer and struck the victim, Muzalipah, in the head four times, killing her on the spot,” he continued.

After Muzalipah’s death, Endang fled to her home in the Cilandak area of ​​South Jakarta. However, it didn’t take long for the Polda Metro Jaya’s Resmob Sub-Directorate to find her. Endang had resisted arrest and fled, forcing her to be shot in the leg.

The Polda Metro Jaya’s Resmob Sub-Directorate received a report of the discovery of the victim’s body on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 6:50 PM WIB. The victim was discovered after blood dripped onto the first floor of the boarding house.

“So, when it was reported through the police call center 110, neighbors on the first floor reported blood dripping from above. Upon finding this, residents reported it to the local neighborhood unit (RT) and neighborhood unit (RW),” said Kapolsek of Grogol Petamburan, AKP Reza Aditya, to the media on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Investigators are currently gathering evidence and witness statements at the scene. The victim’s body has been sent to the Kramat Jati Polri Hospital in East Jakarta for further processing.
